My name is Madiya and I work as a specialist cardiac physiologist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust.
My role involves assisting in the implantation of cardiac devices, following these patients up post implant, monitoring patients during angioplasty/angiogram and performing various different diagnostic tests to help diagnose heart disease.
I am currently working towards British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) pacing accreditation. I love problem solving, therefore the challenges pacing brings is one of the favourite parts of the my job.
I thoroughly enjoy my role as a cardiac physiologist. My favourite aspect of my role is that I of patient interaction. It is a privilege to be able to provide care to those who need it.
