SCST Annual Conference | November 2024

Each year SCST bring together 150 clinical staff and departmental managers from around the country for the SCST Annual Conference.  Formally the SCST National Update Meeting the name of this event has been changed to the SCST Annual Conference to reflect its evolution and growth. The Annual Conference will be held at IET Austin Court in Birmingham on Friday, November 22nd, 2024.

Attendance will be free to SCST members or £200 a ticket for non-members.

SCST Awards 2024

We are excited to announce the SCST Awards, which will take place during the SCST Annual Conference on 22nd November 2024 at Austin Court in Birmingham.
Nominations are open to everyone, not just SCST members. You can nominate and be nominated regardless of your membership status.  There are several categories available including the introduction of two new awards for 2024: Cardiac Physiologist/Scientist of the Year and Associate Practitioner of the Year.

Abstract Submission Application

Call for Abstracts for the 2024 SCST Annual Conference. We would be pleased to consider abstracts from undergraduate student projects as well as from experienced cardiac scientists.  This is open to members and non-members.  Suggested Topics include ECG, Pacing, Echocardiography, EP, Cardiopulmonary Testing, AI in Cardiac Physiology, Education, Professional Practice, Quality Assurance etc.

Innovation Showcase Submissions

Are you involved in a novel, innovative, extended scope of practice or expanded practice?  SCST are looking to showcase novel innovations of practice, at our annual conference. We want to capture all of the great work across the U.K., highlighting novel ideas and providing a platform for sharing good practice. We invite colleagues to submit your innovation using the form. The submissions will be reviewed by our panel and selected innovations will be invited to speak and share their work at our annual conference either as a presentation or poster.
