Congratulations to the Leeds NIHR Clinical Research Facility (CRF) Cardiac Physiologist team who won the Society for Cardiological Science & Technology (SCST) Excellence in Research Award for their outstanding innovative research that takes place within the Jubilee Wing CRF.
In November three members of the team attended the Society for Cardiological Science & Technology (SCST) national meeting, which is the professional body for Cardiac Physiologists, held in Birmingham where they received the award.
Julie Corrigan, Leeds Clinical Research Facility Operations Manager said: “The whole team really appreciate this award as it recognises our work both nationally and among our profession.”There is some excellent work taking place within the Leeds CRF, in particular, the diagnostic investigations that this group of Cardiac Scientists carry out has a direct impact on the current and future care of our patients”
